Katie is amazing! I absolutely loved working with her on the purchase of my townhouse. Moving to the suburbs, from downtown Chicago, was overwhelming. Katie was so patient with all my moments of panic and there were plenty of them! There was an issue, at one point during the purchase, but she handled it with true professionalism and grace. All while keeping me as calm as possible.

As a first time home buyers my husband and I had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. We were referred to Kim&Katie from a friend and they exceeded our expectations! I recently had the pleasure to work with Katie and Kim on the search for my dream home. My fiance and I were looking for our first home. On weekends, we liked to drive around our desired area walking through houses excited about what was in our future. One day, we found a house that caught our eye. It was at the top of our price range, and we walked out thinking “there’s no way this won’t be a bidding war.” We decided to stop at another open house that day. At this home, we were greeted at the door by Katie. From the moment we stepped foot in the house, Katie made us feel like the only two people in the world. She personally took us on a tour (no one else had ever done that at an open house) and by the end of it, we were laughing with her, talking about the real estate in the area, and she asked us about the story of how we met. That personalized attention really made a difference. After jotting down our information, we walked out of that house (knowing that it was out of our price range). Later that day, Katie sent a followup email. It was personalized and thoughtful, and the genuine tone of it made us smile. What really struck me, though, was that again, Katie was the only realtor out of MANY who decided to reach out to us after walking through a property. A few days later, my fiance and I decided that we needed to move forward with the first property we fell in love with. Without hesitation, we contacted Katie to be our realtor. She made it a point to set up a walk-through the next day. She answered every possible question we had (and there were MANY). She always gave us the time of day and she always responded to us promptly throughout the process. On the day we made an offer, she made the process quick and painless, and we feel as though we got the best possible deal on our house. Suddenly, we didn’t feel as burdened with the fact that the home was at the top of our price range. Katie also had to negotiate with a realtor on the other end who was, let’s just say, much less friendly, to say the least. The bottom line is this: If you’re looking for someone who will take care of you throughout this process- Katie is your woman. We have always felt like we were her only clients. She is patient, responsive, and energetic. We are so happy with the way things turned out. We can’t wait to make memories in our new home, all thanks to Katie.
